I don't mind flyng on smaller planes but I'd hate to see the personal seat space reduced more than it is now.
I'm not that big a person and I already find it cramped in the regular seats.
I can't imagine how a six foot tall person manages to spend a 3 or 4 hour flight in the space they provide.

My husband is around 6'1, average weight, and the poor guy has to get into his airplane seat and put his hands between his knees and pretty much not move for three straight hours. It's no wonder more people don't go postal on airplanes. I like to put the armrest up and get comfy, grab a pillow, and fold my legs up under me. It sometimes pays to be short. ;)

Another thing I cannot stand on an airplane is people behind me that kick my chair. Every so often isn't bad, but when it's continual I have to hold myself back from turning around and slapping them.

Lori, thanks! :) Funny story, it's one of K's pics on webshots and I emailed her two days ago asking her to make it my avatar. Then I saw a post from Don with the same avatar and I said "Oh, Kristi accidentally made it your avatar instead of mine", and he said "what are you talking about, I just did that myself", LOL. So, on the same day, we both had the same idea!

DH is 6'6", 3 sons are 6'9", 6'5", and 6'4". It makes flying coach a living H*LL. And we can't afford first class, so our travel plans (driving, flying, etc.) usually determine our vacation destinations.

So much for that - Even Southwest raised fares today - up to $20 per RT. NWA is going to try charging extra for emergency row and aisle seats. What's next? Pay toilets?
