I currently have my Delta Sky Miles card with AMEX.

Am goint to be scheduling my flights later on today w/ the miles I have acquired. I need to get from MIA to LAX (Rountrip).

I was wondering if anyone who has this card or one like it can answer some of my questions.

1. Is this an easy process?

2. Is there anything I need to be on the look out for?

3. Are there any fees that the airline may try to charge me that I should try to waive?

Any other tips would be helpful.

Thanks,

Betty,

This is not hard at all. The online reservation systemworks quite well and there are no fees that can be waived.

My one warning is be careful to define terms when you get into the system. SkyChoice is the fly anytime, charge double miles system and SkySaver is the stuff you signed up for. There are a LOT fewer choices in SkySaver. There will be a 10 charge for taxes. On the up side, if you use the online system they reward you with 1000 miles.
