Have any of you been on the Norwegian Spirit?

My daughter Kathy, her friend, son Donald and his family and I are sailing to Alaska on Saturday on the NCL Spirit. I haven't been on this ship yet and wonder if any of you have sailed on her.

I've heard that this ship has a lot of Asian Influence--since it once was part of the Star's fleet.

I am really looking for forward to this cruise. This will make my 12th NCL cruise overall.

No, have not been on the Spirit but I envy you going to Alaska on just about anything! Have my 4th NCL cruise scheduled in December out of New Orleans on the Sun and can hardly wait!

I enjoyed it very much. But, I like NCL (but some people don't care for the anytime dining). There was nothing wrong with the ship at all.

i have sailed norwegian before on the sun......i lov the anytime dinning.

so ya enjoyed the ship.

how was the cabins?

The cabins are a bit small, but not to bad. We had a balcony, so that helped. Donald and his family (mom, dad and 2 small kids) had an inside and they did alright--a little cramped, but not bad.

with gas prices and everything going so high.it is so hard to plan anything
