LOL Thanks Terri!!! I wish you were sailing with us too!! Yes.......the CTN was definitely fun!! What a wild 2 days that was!!! Friday is 70 days so maybe the price will go down a bunch and you can go!!!!!

My guess would be that's where we will be for sail away. Hopefully we will sail away earlier than we did on the CTN!!! And with less confusion too!

Well Jill - I thought I would come over and tell you how jealous I am of you and MrPete that you will both be sailing on MY Legend next week! lol!!!! She was my first and I will always have fond memories of her! You guys will have a great time - which you both know - you were on her Jill and didn't you sail on the Legend also Pete??? I can't wait till you guys get back so I can hear all about it!!!! What do you have planned for the ports?? Your sailing NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

Yeah.
I got a tease on a CTN, just like you, only the year before. So this is my return to the legend for a full fledge cruise, and we have it booked next June as well!

Saying it's next week sounds REAL nice!

I did my first full week on the Legend and it was nice to get back on her for the CTN!!! Enjoy!

OK Mr Pete......my vacation starts next Wednesday and I can't wait!!!! I liked the Legend when I was on the CTN. I actually like the Miracle better but I am sure we will have a blast on the Legend!!!

I liked the Legend as it was my first Spirit class ship. We also have fond memories as we took my wife's grandmother with us (hense the short cruise...we had JUST gotten off the Disney Wonder the previous month). She was 84 and I did't want to be responsible for the ship heading back to port prematurely. Here she is meeting the captain.

She was at a loss of words on the ship. She lived in Scotland all her life. All she kept saying was that she would not even be able to describe what being on a cruise was like.

It is now fond memories, as she has since died.

We then went on the Pride, which I loved also, as we had our first aft cabin, and we were going to Bermuda.

I was just as happy on the Pride, as the decor was just a bit funkier; the Legend being classier.

When I went on the Miracle, my expectations were raised just a bit too high. Even those pictures where the ship was being built were whetting my appetite. I expected more of the themes, not just two rooms (the disco and the mad Hatters. And I didn't care for the light wood used where the urns are on the Legend, and of course that dining room! AND I REALLY DIDN'T CARE FOR THE PORTS OF CALL, NOR SAILING TO FLORIDA IN THE SUMMER.

And of course, what ship do you think was there right next to us in port in NY? The Legend! Only this time she was different, as they had painted the two huge poles in the back of the ship that support the stairs to the slide (that had better be fixed and open) the Carnival colors.

I guess she kept showing up telling me I'd better sail her one more time. Well, she's getting her wish next week. :rolleyes:

Yep I guess we are Mr Pete!!! But that's OK. We can take care of that ship all by ourselves! I really liked the Miracle when we sailed her last May. We did the Key West, Nassau, Freeport route and it was just one fantastic cruise. We just had nothing to complain about! As for the dining room we only ate there the first nite to get our drink coupons and breakfast on the last morning. It really didn't bother me!!

Sounds like it's an empty ship, or these people don't have computers.

No mind! I'm planning on blasting off and enjoying myself for all the 8 days. And eating well. I already have my first rueben on order.

LOL! When I went on my week cruise on the Legend - there were only a few others also. Now for our CTN - whew!!!!! That thread was hopping!!!! It was great!!!! I miss that thread!!!

I was absolutely thrilled yesterday seeing her on the webcam, and watched her for a while sail down the Hudson. She left late again, but not too late.

I'll probably start packing tomorrow. See you on the Lido Aft! Will you have that red box behind your head?

Have fun meeting up with your third grade friend (I have been conversing with someone who I went to school from K through 6th grade, till she moved away (ironically , in the county I live now), for about a year now. She lives in Florida. We may meet up in January when we go to Orlando/Bahamas).
