It's been a year since Lisa passed, miss you girlfriend.

This weekend marks one year since the passing of our dear friend Lisa. We still miss her greatly. I think about her often, and occasionally run across pics of her in old cruise albums, and remember her with a smile on my face. Thinking of Kari, Mac, Kenny and all of her family this weekend, sending hugs and prayers their way.

I think about Lisa all the time and really miss her. She was a wonderful lady. Sending prayers to her family .

Kenny and I were just talking about that. We're going to the cemetery on Sunday and take some flowers out there. I don't think Kenny should be alone on that day.

I didn't make it to the cemetery, but Kenny did have a little BBQ yesterday afternoon, just with Lisa's best friend and her hubby and family and us. It was very nice.

A nice story which Kenny was very excited about is that last year after the memorial service, his father and sister gave him a "memory rose" and he planted it in honor of Lisa. Well, Saturday night it was still a bud, when he got up yesterday morning and went on the back patio, the rose was in full bloom.

I can't believe it's been a year. Lisa always had a smile on her face. Even when we sailed the Miracle and she was so sick she still hung with the big dogs and enjoyed the cruise.

I very much miss her inviting, non-judgmental happy attitude. Rest in peace my friend and I hope you are sailing that big ship in the sky.
