New From Washington State

HI everyone,my names Shawnee,and I will be taking my very very first cruise on the Carnival Ledgend, to the Western Carribeans on Febuary 3, 2008!!!!!!! This has been a lifes dream, and actually it ended up a bunch of us gals at work decided on it one night and it snowballed! I cant begin to describe how excitted I am.Anyone from here going? We range from late 20's to early 50s~ Love any pointers for that destination if anyone has any and a thankyou ahead of time

Hi, and Legend is one of my favorite ships too. I like all Spirit class ships of Carnival. I have also done this itinerary so if you have any questions we can answer them.

I also live in Tampa. Are you coming in the day before the cruise? Need to know anything about Tampa? Let me know.

You will really love the Legend. I've been on it twice and had a great time both cruises. The layout of the ship is great.

Thanks everyone for the nice replys! A few of us will be flying down to Tampa, a few days early, because air fare dropped dramactically by doing so, hopefully we can explore a bit of Tampa.
I am in Central Washington,Wenatchee, to be exzact.Not many big ships around this area Im afraid.lol Sunshine and apple trees are about our claim to fame:Banane41:
I am hoping to find a few of shore excurisons that wont cost me my first born, and if they do, well then ,they will have to keep him!!!:rofl2::rofl2:

Hi and welcome to Cruise Fools. Like everyone said, the Legend is an awesome ship. My favorite. We have done her itinerary out of Tampa when the Carnival Miracle was doing it. We loved the ports. One of the ports was Costa Maya. It doesn't look like cruise lines will be going there for at least a year, so that port will probably be substituted.
