Hello to all and thanks DoggyStyle for getting us "hooked up" with this site and our first cruise.

I should have done this a while back, since we have been posting once in a while and we are very excited to be going on the inaugural cruise of CCL's new ship Freedom in the Med in just a few weeks. We're a bit nervous.......but excited at the same time.

Our names are Rick and Helen. I, Rick, am a narcotics investigator and work for a tribal police department in NW Wisconsin. I've been in law enforcement for almost 12 years now. By the way, I am OFF DUTY when on vacation!! Ha Ha!

Helen is a veterinarian and is part owner of two clinics in the NW Wisconsin area.

I have two AWESOME sons and we enjoy doing outdoor things with them. We enjoy travelling to various destinations with Alaska being our favorite. Halibut fishing is always on the menu on that trip!!

With all of that out of the way and out in the air, we are looking forward to meeting our fellow cruisers in March and we want to give Host Pammy a special THANK YOU for all of the work she has done for us personally, and for all of the others that contribute advice, information and work on excursions, logistics and coordinating activities for the trip that we are going on. We're looking forward to an awesome trip!!

Sandy, sorry about the bug-out, but it's an invite that is very difficult to ignore. I've known these people for 20+ years, so I hope you understand. Cinder... I can't say I miss the calving season. Feburary in NW WI is a b*%ch fr a calving season and I have paid my due. I have since made amends and only play with kitties and doggies and the occasional pocket pet. But like many professions, it is diffucult to go 'off duty'!!
Gonna give 'er my best go in March!
