Hi everyone!

I'm new to CruiseFools. We saw this group recently on our Miracle cruise on 2/13/05 and you all looked like a great bunch. We are currently booked through Crucon on the 9/17 cruise on the CP. I noticed that your rate is about $10/pp cheaper. Does anyone know if it's a big deal to change to your group cruise? Just wanting to try a different group of cruise nuts. Looks like the amenities are the same ($100 shipboard credit per cabin, cocktail party, etc.)

Thanks,

Lori

Hi Lori, welcome. I am the group leader for the 9/17 cruise. I will check into this for you and get back with you. Give me a couple of days since we all just got back from the Miracle today. But I will find out for you.

Hi Lori!! :) I'm not booked on this date, but I can tell you at this point there should be absolutely no problem for you to cancel your booking with the other TA and rebook with Nancy at Cruiseplanners with the Fools group. You are way before final payment time, so there won't be a penalty, then you can just rebook it, it's simple. :)

Did we get to meet you on the Miracle?? We had a great cruise, and are glad that you want to join one of our groups in the future.

Hi Sue. I didn't meet any of the cruisefools on the Miracle individually but you all seemed to be having a great time! What are the perks with the cruisefools CP cruise? Same as CC? $100 on board credit, cocktail party, etc? We've never been on Princess before and I'm wondering what the chances are of getting upgraded. Also, since we've cruised Carnival 4 times previously, do we get any additional benefits?

Thanks!
Lori

Lori, look at it this way, $10 equals two free drinks on the Lido deck :D How's that for perspective?

Exactly! Especially if the benefits are the same, then it's all good.

Lori, there is a sticky at the top of this forum that will tell you what the amenities are. Also the number for Nancy our TA. I'm sure that she will be able to help you transfer you ressie over if that is what you want to do. Let me know what you decide.

Lori, you may or may not know but I was the original GL of the CC group that is going on the CP. It was to be the 3rd annual Hounds cruise but the Hounds and CC had a parting of the ways. About 100 people moved their booking from CC to our new TA, Nancy at Cruise Planners. All we had to do was fax a form over to Princess and they transfered the booking. No canceling/ rebooking at all. We were able to keep the cabins we had already picked and didn't have to redeposit. I still have the forms I made for people in my computer and could email it to you. Once Princess makes the change, Nancy pulls your booking into our group and adjusts your rate. It's very painless. We have the same ammenities meaning the $100 cabin credit. Lisa is taking care of this group now and she's doing a great job of it. I'm sure she'd love to have you sailing with her!!!
